Defamation Case Filed On MS Dhoni By Ex-Business Partner

Diwakar and his wife Soumya Das have filed a defamation case against Dhoni. Earlier, Dhoni had filed a case against Diwakar. Mahi had filed a case of fraud.

It was said on behalf of Dhoni that Rs 15 crore was given to the contract of Cricket Academy but he did not get any contract and the money was embezzled.

It has been said in the petition that defamatory allegations should be stopped against Dhoni and the people working on his behalf.

According to a report in Bar & Bench, Dhoni’s contract was signed between Diwakar and Das’s Arka Sports Management. The case has been listed in the Delhi High Court before Justice Pratibha M Singh.

Dhoni had said in his case that a payment of Rs 15 crore was made to Arka Sports Management on his behalf for cricket academies.

No work was done after taking the money. Dhoni’s lawyer made these allegations in a press conference on January 6.
