Due to rain, the match ended in a draw and India had to share important points in the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. With this, the two-match Test series ended 1-0 in India’s favor.
Now the Indian cricket team has to play a three-match ODI and five-match T20 series on the tour of the West Indies. The ODI series begins on 27 July. After this T20 series will be played. Now only white cricket is left in front of the Indian cricket team.
India has to play competitions like Asia Cup, World Cup after settling the tour of West Indies this year. This means that India will take a long break from Test cricket for the time being. Yes, India now has to play its next match in Test cricket after 154 days from today (July 25). This is a big gap.
India has to play its next Test against South Africa on 26 December 2023. This is the Proteas tour of India, where the Indian team has to play a two-match Test series. The first match will be held at the Super Park in Centurion. Which can be seen at 1:30 pm according to Indian time.
The second match will take place on January 3 and will be held in Cape Town. At present, India has received a setback in the latest draw in the World Test Championship, where India’s score percentage has come down to 66.67 from less than 100. The Indian team has also dropped from the first position.
After this, India will play a five-Test home series against England in January-February. After this, there will again be a long gap and Team India has to host a two-match Test series against Bangladesh in September-October next year.
Soon after this, the New Zealand team will come to India and will play a three-match Test series. From November 2024 to January 2025, India will also play a five-match Test series against Australia, which will be held on Kangaroo soil.
