Pakistan Made Unique Record In Test Cricket In 21st Century, Fearless Performance Of Batsmen – SL vs PAK, 2nd Test, Pakistan tour of Sri Lanka, 2023: In the first innings of the second Test against Sri Lanka at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo, the Pakistan team started in a frenzied fashion.

Pakistan’s batsman Shan Masood did the trick of scoring a quick half-century for the team. With this, Pakistan has made a big record in its name.

Sri Lanka bundled out for 166 runs:

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, the entire Sri Lankan team got bundled out for 166 runs in the first innings. For Pakistan, spin bowler Abrar Ahmed took a maximum of four wickets in his name.

Dhananjay de Silva, who scored a century in the first match, managed to score a half-century in the first innings of the second match as well. Apart from this, none of the Sri Lankan batsmen could play big innings.

Pakistan made a unique record:

While batting, Pakistan scored 100 runs in 16.4 overs and made a special record. In fact, this is the fastest 100 by Pakistan in the first innings of Test matches in the 21st century.

Shan Masood completed his half-century in just 44 balls. Both Shan and Shafiq batted at a brisk pace to help Pakistan dominate the match.
