IND vs WI: What did Shardul Thakur say when Yuzvendra Chahal did not get a chance in a single ODI against West Indies?:

The Indian cricket team did not give Yuzvendra Chahal a chance in a single match of the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. Kuldeep Yadav played as a front-line spinner in all three matches and made a tremendous impact.

Chahal had earlier accumulated his coin in T20 and white ball cricket. He bowled excellent leg spin. Because of this, there are always high expectations from him.

In such a situation, questions arise when Team India does not feed Chahal, has India given him priority below Kuldeep Yadav in the World Cup?

Caribbean ODI series star performer Shardul Thakur believes that whenever you feed Chahal, he will perform, and sitting on the bench will not affect his confidence.

Thakur said after the match, our bench strength is very strong. So there will be many times that one will not get a chance to play more matches or series.

Yuzvendra Chahal is a very good player, he has performed for many years and proved himself. Now, whether to feed them or not is the decision of the management. The kind of player he is, whenever we feed him, he will definitely perform.”

The all-rounder said, “We have seen that whenever he plays, he takes a lot of wickets, whether it is ODI or T20. He always contributes to the success of the team. So I do not think that in any series He will be disappointed not to play. He has achieved success in many matches in the past.”

The good thing is that Chahal has got opportunities to perform in T20s. The five-match T20 series between India and West Indies is going to start. The first match will be held tomorrow i.e. from August 2.
