Asia Cup 2023 Super Four Matches: Where Will Remaining Matches Be Played: The Asia Cup 2023 matches have faced rain. The effect of rain is yet to be seen on the match to be held in Pakistan.

But rain played spoilsport in almost all the matches in Sri Lanka. Due to the rain, the demand to shift the Asia Cup to another place is also being made continuously.

Super Four matches to be held in Colombo:

The first match of the Super Four will be played today i.e. on Wednesday, 6th September in Lahore. The first match of the Super Four of the Asia Cup 2023 will be played between Pakistan and Bangladesh teams.

But all subsequent matches are to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It has been raining continuously in Colombo for the last few days. Due to rain, a flood-like situation is also there.

Shift was done in Hambantota:

Considering the weather in Colombo, all the Superfour matches were considered to be shifted to Hambantota. After this, it was also announced to shift the match.

But later the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) withdrew its decision. Actually, both India and Pakistan teams were not ready to go to Hambantota and play the match.

The decision changed due to this reason:

According to media reports, the Indian team was not happy with the hotel and other arrangements in Hambantota. The Pakistan team had objected to coming to Hambantota to play.

After this, it was decided to hold all the matches in Colombo only. However, there is still room for change in this. But till now no correct information has been revealed regarding any new venue.

Rain will spoil the game:
