Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has become the joint third fastest bowler to take 50 ODI wickets for the country along with former fast bowler Waqar Younis.

Known for his prowess with the ball, Rauf completed 50 ODI wickets in 27 matches by taking the wicket of young right-handed batsman Tauheed Hridoy.

In the first match of the Asia Cup Super 4 for Pakistan, Rauf performed lethal bowling. In fact, Hasan Ali holds the record for the fastest 50 ODI wickets for Pakistan.

He achieved this remarkable feat in 24 matches. Rising fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is second after touching the 50-wicket mark in 25 matches.

Talking about the match, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in the Super 4 Asia Cup match on Wednesday.

Haris Rauf performed brilliant bowling, while Imam-ul-Haq played a brilliant inning of 78 runs, which helped Pakistan by seven wickets. It easily wins by the wicket.

For Pakistan, Haris Rauf took 4/19 in 6 overs, while Naseem Shah took 3/34 in 5.4 overs. Bangladesh batsmen were seen struggling in front of Pak bowling.

Despite a 100-run stand and double half-centuries from captain Shakib (53 from 57 balls) and former captain Mushfiqur Rahim (64 from 87 balls) for Bangladesh.
